The Challenge:

Adventure Communist is a 5+ year-old game, and the team was looking to open up new avenues for the games growth, via user acquisition strategies as well as creative production.

The Approach:

Rocketship HQ began with a deep dive on the account, and significantly restructured the account to ensure a focus on the strongest geos, creatives and optimization goals, which immediately gave a boost to the campaigns’ ROAS.

Subsequently, RocketShip HQ did a deep dive into understanding competitive creatives, and player motivations – as also performant themes from other adjacent genres to formulate a creative production strategy that could revitalize the performance of Adventure Communist.

RocketShip HQ set up an untested campaign in a tier 3 geo to test new creative concepts to ensure the ad spend is not wasted on unproven ads. Soon after the creatives were proven in our tier 3 campaign, we rolled the top performers into our core geos – at which point they quickly rose to the top, and began to drive an immediate performance lift.

Over the next few months, RocketShip HQ developed an analysis and production cadence to come up with an ongoing set of performant creatives. RocketShip HQ did this while doing extremely deep and granular analysis of campaigns that continued to move performance forward.

After unlocking early creative and audience wins, Rocketship HQ expanded across various geographies and opened up additional channels like TikTok, Apple Search, and Snapchat ads, with the creative production-driven optimizations driving a 70% ROAS uplift while improving the CPIs by 69%.
