The Challenge:

Sanctuary had hit their early subscriber growth goals through some very savvy social marketing and early work on paid user acquisition. With their limited funding, they knew they would have to unlock significantly higher performance with their paid ads than they had done in the past in order to sustain & accelerate their growth. The Approach:

RocketShip HQ kicked off work with Sanctuary by embarking on aggressive creative testing – and by iterating on various themes/concepts to attempt to unlock efficiencies. After the first few iterations failed to move the needle by much, RocketShip HQ’s relentless iteration and experimentation broke open the user acquisition efforts – as the team unlocked a slew of creative concepts that immediately began to drive the app’s cost-per-subscriber down. 

The team then began to experiment with bidding options and audiences, while continuing to iterate on creatives – and was able to scale user acquisition spend while continuing to drive cost-per-subscriber numbers down. These are the results that RocketShip HQ was able to drive within the first quarter of work with Sanctuary – and the team is excited for the tons of other opportunities that lie ahead.
